Self Directed Project

An exploration of memory and nostalgia through the role of anarchivist.
This is a personal exploration of my home in the prairies through the collection of historical documents - journals, photos, and prints.
An accumulation and interference of past and present, as they are intimately connected and engage in ongoing memory reconsolidation.
These digital sketches would be created through various printmaking techniques with multiple layers of paper. The prints would be stored in a box alongside other historical documents and objects - a collection of memories that are in direct contact with one another and have the ability to be touched and rearranged.

Entangled Echo

A memory, a recollection, an echo
A trace, an imprint, an echo

Memories become intertwined and objects become reminders.

Memory embedded in seaweed. A memory of its journey from sea to shore. A personal memory. A shared memory.
